Palanggana

Yesterday, I started my day with a smile, smiling at my mother welcoming me on a new day.

Mama:  You look bloated. Your face beginning to look like palanggana (basin)
Me:   T__T

So I went to the office a little frustrated. At some point, I began thinking what happened the other night. And this what happened:

While I am on my way home, in the jeepney; I hand over my pamasahe to this man sitting beside me. He courteously gave the pamasahe to the driver and returned the change to me.

There’s nothing unusual about this, but there is about the man. His nose, it almost occupy the entire population of his face!  I smiled alone losing sanity remembering this. I am glad my face is just a palanggana while this man is turning into an elephant.

Forgive me. I don’t intend to hurt somebody’s feelings. I just need a good laugh. Peace!

I know this is not a good joke either.

Cheers!

My First Violin Recital

I just bought myself a new violin! After a week I was able to play this:

Well, for sure you notice all the lightings, the decorative gas lamps I lighted them all for a romantic feel. You know it’s been a dream of mine to play music in a fine dining restau in front of all the lovers dating. Yihii. And I intend to make the video presentable, to cover up my face and to draw your attention away from the squeaky sound. Forgive me for that I am just a beginner. It's still a long way to go.

Cheers!

What's the Fun? In Fun Run

I don’t get it at first what’s the fun in running.  If it’s all fun, then everybody should be whooshing their way on to their route than being a slow poke and walk. I never thought I’m going to try this one because I am an advocate of sedendary lifestyle Lol. But my friends had registered me, and for me it’s all okay for as long as I don’t have to shell out money just to tire myself.

The fun of joining the Hyundai Fun Run held last Saturday at Roxas Blvd. is not just to increase your blood flow and work those muscles, but for a good cause as well. It will benefit the Haribon Foundation. In my case, the fun doubles running together with these fun people.

As it turns out, I am chasing them to take their photo and not doing the supposedly duty.

Some celebrities participated, Goma and Lucy were there. Security was all over the place.

From local to foreign, Chao Yun Fat. I hope you enjoyed your stay here!

The portalet is at the back girls.

Finally we finished the race...

and it's time to refresh, rejuvenate and revitalize again.

And the fun never stops, till our next fun run!

Cheers!
